The first professional photography job I had was to shoot 6 book covers. I couldn’t believe they gave me the job, as I’d only started. I had to follow the brief, find the models, props and locations. So off I went on my bicycle with camera and tripod in a bag on my back and a suitcase with lights balanced on the handlebars. Afterwards I would call in to book shops just to see all six books displayed side by side.
I’m still shooting covers, books and magazines.
