A shoot for Sky Magazine. Cathal Cryan is a retired detective sergeant who knew Veronica Guerin well. He is one of the most interesting people I have met. I had pretty much finished the shoot after about 15 minutes, but stayed another 3 hours listening to him talk to the journalist! He spoke of all those criminals you’ve read about over the years and a few you mightn’t have heard of. He is one of those people who you could listen to all day. A great storyteller. I can imagine confessing to anything he asked you too after a while, just because you’d like him so much! He is also a marathon runner too, has ran 61 so far. I wouldn’t fancy him coming after me, I don’t think he’d ever give up. You can watch him on National Geographic, Underworld, Dublin Gangland. Mon 4th April, 8pm
